Can someone tell me how much a Peavey Vegas 400 weighs?
Like many of us,the weight of an amp is an issue.
I have a chance to get a pretty good deal on one,but want to be able to carry it. Thanks

Wish mine hadn't burnt it that darn house fire which smoldered my Sho-Bud a few years ago
....have since got hold of a Nashville 400 and altered it to a seperate head and cabinet. Great sound, as it's the same as the Vegas as we know but without the extra channel...and now it sounds even better as more room for air to circulate in seperate cabinets

You're right about the Vegas Jerry. I bought mine from Kingfisher Music Store here in England in 1984 - believed to have been the very first one into the UK.
It's still going strong after years of gigging.
Unfortunately, I believe that Kingfisher has joined quite a few other such stores in the UK to have closed its doors recently.
I guess that's the internet for you !!

I bought two peavey handles from Tubesandmore and mounted them on each end of my Vegas 400. Holes at the corner plates line right up. Use a little heavyer and longer screws. Put wheels on it and you can lead around like a pony. I done that to a Session 400 and a Limited . Butch in NC
