I can't seem to get the right combinations of notes to pass from Lets A to D7 in two measures. My ear is trying to tell me to use half steps. For example in Crazy. Going into the bridge from A to D7. Anybody
Thanks Chet _________________ __________________

Hi Chet,
I’m not positive I understand your question – here’s a stab at it, let me know if this helps.
The song Crazy in A, taking 2 measures to transition into the D chord of the bridge.
Here’s one approach--
Measure 1 / Beats 1 & 2 – Notes A & C#
Measure 1 / Beats 3 & 4 – Notes B & D
Measure 2 / Beats 1 & 2 – Notes C & D#
Measure 2 / Beats 3 & 4 – Notes C# & E
Measure 3 / Arrive on “D” – Notes D & F#
BTW
I don’t believe the 1st chord of the bridge is a 7th chord – it would be just the 4 chord – D
Good luck,
Marc

Thanks Marc that'll do it. Thanks again for the response.
I do believe your right on D not being a 7.

In the two measures leading to the
bridge play 'A' for two beats, Bm7
for two beats, Cdim for two beats
then an A7 with a C# in the bass
for two beats.
| A | Bm7 | Cdim | A7/C# | D ~
