Hi Guys
I just purchased a Williams "600" guitar but their website only lists '400' series anyone have any reason for not listing the '600' maybe they dont make the 600 any longer?????

The fine folks at Williams Guitars are so busy building steels that they haven't updated their website for quite a while...
The 400 series evolved into the 600 series, and now the 700 series. I have a 600 series, nice guitar.
As far as I know, the 600 series is still available, and the 700 series is an option.

I finally got to meet Bill Rudolph and his son at the Wisconsin Dairy Steel Show. Bill told me his son is the webmaster and has a new website with an E-commerce function in the works, which is very close to completion. Bill's son has a full time job and helps his father with the guitar business so working on the web site has naturally taken a backseat the other responsibilities. IMHO, they have their priorities straight and it doesn't take years to get a new Williams guitar.

Bill had three lovely guitars on display at the show. He loaned a beautiful double necked guitar right off his display table to Phil Coontz for his show performance. Phil said he never played a Willy guitar before. The sound of this guitar was second to none as was Phil's playing.

Williams website is far out dated. I can assure you they are well advanced from the old site. Bills son is working on the up date. But they have many orders for this fine guitar. And they try to get it to you in 60 days that is why the up date is not out yet. I have owned most all top line steel guitars. My williams 700 with alumitone pickups and only ( 2 cents cabinet drop )is as good as it gets.
