I've been having a lot of trouble staying "seated" on my packseat lately as the cloth seems to be getting too "slick" or something and I find myself sliding forward very easily. I've thought about going to the auto salvage yard and getting both sides of a seat belt so I could bolt 'em to my pack seat and strap myself in so I could stay in place! Anyone else ever have this problem or installed a seat belt on their chair? Might work, who knows!...JH in Va.

Jerry, you could try a piece of non-slip cabinet liner, cut to the shape of your seat. It should add some needed friction.

May be time to recover the seat.

I see a problem in that you AND the seat will go flying when the air bag deploys !

Thanks for the suggestions?.... I think I might try that cabinet liner that Rick suggested. As far as replacing the cloth, It's a very nice Walker Pack Seat and the cloth is very nice looking so I don't want to change it. I still might look for the seat belts though.........JH in Va.

Jerry..Another alternative that may be worth noting is to try a scotch guard type spray like you would put on your furniture.I noticed a can in my shop and it has a mild adhesion silica in it.

I don't have any real good advice for you, but Jerry Lewis had the same problem in this clip, especially around 2:00 minutes.

There was a pack a seat for sale at the Dallas show with a seat belt. It also had wheels.

Joe, I'm so old and decrepit that I can't even stare at a pretty girl for 15 minutes....I tend to fall asleep after a few minutes......JH in Va.

Jerry, I too have some trouble with my seat so when I am sliding around in the seat, I usually put my (pedal steel neck strap) on & walk around in the club or what ever & play the steel that way. I do miss a chord now & then & squeezing the A & B pedals is a little tricky. I had to go wireless, to do this, but , its a real trip!
