I just received my new Tribo-Tone K bar. This is a great bar - very quiet, perfect weight for me. I highly recommend Tribo-Tone's products!

I've had my Tribotone bar for a while now, & can't see myself going back to a steel bar again. Virtually no friction, easy to hold, & great tone - a real step forward!

I am thinking Eric from Tribo / Austin Texas may be coming out the Austin Steel Guitar Co-op Sunday.
Not sure maybe he will chime in...
I know he is a busy guy, with family and a growing successful tone bar business.

I'll be at the Austin Steel Guitar Co-op tomorrow. I had a great time at the last meeting. Thank you Ken for putting all this together... it's growing.
And thanks for the feedback on the bars. I'll make them as long as people enjoy playing them. My bar is 9 years old and I don't play anything else. I'm glad to offer them. Thanks for your support!

I'm about to hand over the Tribo-Toneā¢ website to some people that know what they're doing. It's due for a major overhaul. Lots of new stuff. I'll announce it here. See you at the Austin Steel Guitar Co-op

+1 for tribo-tone, I really like my 'B' weight lap steel bar in white. Thanks Eric!

I am sold on TriboTone bars. There is nothing quieter.
Just test them unplugged against a steel bar. All these nasty little noises at the bar are gone!
And they seem to last and can even handle an occasional drop on a tiled floor!
What they can NOT handle though it being plaid on corroded strings which will cut into them. But then, one is not supposed to play corroded strings.

I'm buying a C weight this year. I'll give y'all a report. My current B weight is as great as everybody says. But a little light for my taste.

I wouldn't use any other bar unless I didn't have a Tribo Tone available. I have three of them in various colors to match different guitars. Great bars.

Eric,Do you make a 15/16" bar?

I have a B and a C weight Tribotone--the C weight is a shorter Byrd style bar. I like them both, but if I could only have one, it would probably be the C weight bar. The extra weight really brings the tone out on my tricone, and really sounds a little better to my ear on electrics too. If I had never heard and played the C weight, I'd have still been thrilled with the B bar.
Both bars work fine on pedal steel too, even though they're 3/4" bars and a bit shorter than a regular pedal steel bar. They're really great bars!
