Hi Brad,
I have been using the Tonic for a few Years and there is nothing better.
I play Strat at some gigs and have been putting the Strat in to a Rat Pedal and then taking the cord from the PSG out and putting the Strat cord in to the "Pre amp in" jack, keeping the three cord hook up as it were. The resultant sound is good.
My question is, If I were to use a pedal such as the Tech 21 Blond which is being discussed on the Forum, would I damage the Tonic, since this pedal is a pre amp(with apparant gain).
Best regards
Billy

Billy.

The Tech 21 Blonde pedal has a wide range of output gain. As long as you don't over-crank the output level of the pedal, it should work great. Don't worry one bit about hurting the Tonic. The only thing you could hurt is the tone if you set the knobs funny.

Best,
Brad
