Lap Steel Workshop in Brooklyn this Saturday

Hi,

My name's Raphael McGregor, I play lap steel in Brooklyn. Done a lot of freelancing, recording and touring including with greats like Willie Nelson, Darol Anger and Michael Manring, Adam Levy and Mat Munisteri, and also play around town a lot working bands like the Moonlighters and a great new Western Swing band that plays every Monday at Banjo Jim's.

I'm giving a workshop at Jalopy and just wanted to pass it on to you or anyone you think might be interested. Are you going to focus on a particular tuning?

Yes--I use a C6 so I'll be focusing on that but I think the left hand technique stuff should be fairly applicable to most tunings. (Hopefully I haven't put my foot in my mouth by saying that)
