I have been listening to an album on Rhapsody called Steel Guitar Magic by the All Star Hawaiin Band. Great music and beautiful stereo separation, many times one steel guitar in the right speaker and another one in the left side. Anybody familiar with this album,or know anything about these guys?

If you liked Steel Guitar Magic by the All Star Hawaiin Band, you'll love Hawaii's Greatest Hits, also by the All Star Hawaiin Band, featuring Barney Isaacs on Steel Guitar. I have both albums and Hawaii's Greatest Hits is by far my favorite. Barney's steel work on this album is simply fantastic.

FYI, The album artwork is below...

When I started playing last year, I bought this, and although I enjoyed it, it is only in the last few months listening to it that I can really appreciate it. For someone who is a relative newbie to steel, it is a great lesson in how to "play well with others"...two steels, never getting in each others way and just an all around great collection of music. I listen to it frequently.
