Wondering who played the steel on this version of "After the fire is gone"...probably Paul Franklin...great stuff...would love tabs for this...

That would be Mike Johnson. He played some great stuff on Singletary's cds.

I believe Mike played on that whole album ("That's why I sing this way")--some of the finest steel artistry you'll ever hear.
