I just found this sweet one in a local music store where it was taken in on a trade for a new Hummingbird. It is a '94. The model is called "The Everly" and it was produced between '94 and '97. It is characterized by the moustache bridge and "Every" on the truss rod cover. (The original Everly's and subsequent J180's have either a standard bridge or string-thru.) I have been able to locate a few similar ones on the net, but all of them are in ebony. The Gibson ads from '94 list this model as available in antique ebony or heritage cherryburst. I have had a great email chat with Roger Rettig about this guitar:

Any Everly owners on the forum?

I have an Epiphone copy made in Korea Embarassed It doesn't have a moustache brace. I like it though.
Does that count?

Hmm...haven't heard the Epiphone version, but if it's made with black mica it has to sound better than mine!
