I have a 6 string C6 but I'm getting an 8 string
lo-hi A-C-E-G-A-C-E-G. Looking for old Country or Hawaiian. Will take all ya got. I'm 68 and wanna do it all before it is too late. Only been at LS since Christmas and Love it!

Check out Dick Meis' web page at www.pedalsteelguitar.net

Just scroll down to "non-pedal books" and you'll find some material there. Dick has 8 string non-pedal arrangements for C6th and E13th.

Dick is an excellent pedal and non-pedal steel picker and an outstanding person to do business with.

It isn't tab, but I've been having a blast with Basil Henriques' youtube instruction for "Blue Hawaii." The best tabs, bar none, are the Jerry Byrd solo transcriptions available from Scotty's Music.
