Fiddle player at large again;

Post by Tracy Sheehan »

I would like to play one or two nights a month with some old timers who come from the old school as my self.I like to play country and western swing and would like to play with some guys who don't get lost if i get off the melody at times. Used to be called hokum which only the old timers will understand what i mean.
For example i tried out with a band one night and was asked to play faded love.After the guitar players ride i came back with hokum as it was called in the old days and lost the rhythm section.On my first ride i played the melody.
Any hoo any bands that play like this left and any demand for dance music out there?
Any one intersted please PM me and we can get together over the phone.Tracy

Oh btw.I can play in any key. B,E flat,F# or what ever.
Come on now. Some of you O F's must need a fiddle player 1 0r 2 times a month. I promise not to play the OBS. :lol:
