not sure about a book, but, i have seen a dvd learning lesson, i think from texas or something to do with texas with a lot of ray price shuffle and intro's. the guy is a teacher of country music at a college in texas or oklahoma. i can't remember the details but i remember about the tommy jackson style stuff.
now i'll be up all night tryin' to piece this together. but, we need more ray price fiddlers!

Youtube .Youtube.....and MORE Youtube !!!! look up Ray Price and many other Stars and you'll find Tommy Jackson , Shorty Lavender, Keith Coleman and Bobby Flores, Stuart Duncan, Carrol and Ora Mae Hubbard, Dale Morris Jr and many many more wonderful players. I'm learning fiddle also, and I have found just a treasure trove of wonderful material. PLUS you can watch their technique most of the time!
