No, she doesn't play steel!

So, my wife flew to Dallas yesterday for a work related meeting, and was at the airport around 4pm to leave to come back to Tampa when her flight got canceled. Unfortunately for her, she was at the airport early, so they had put bag on an earlier flight! LUGGAGE LEFT, but she couldn't! They wouldn't put her on the flight, because it was too late (they said)...??? Anyway, she got stuck in Dallas with no overnight bag. Mad

So, they sent her, and a bunch of others to the Sheraton Grand to stay overnight. At about 5:00, she called my cell phone and said "You're never going to believe this..."

Very Happy

Her name is Heather McGuire, and she told me this morning she met HowardR (who she said was very nice). Smile

If you see a strange woman walking around with no name tag asking people if they know TJ Weger from the SGF Steel Without Pedals section, that's her! She said she's been walking around smiling the whole time, because of all the happy steelers, and hearing steel guitar sounds all over the place.

We just may have to make a trip up there next year.

She saw you last evening Brad, and recognized your name (I threw out a bunch of names for her to look for), but said you were really busy with a bunch of folks, and she didn't want to interrupt you.

I'm not sure when she has to be back at the airport to catch her new flight, but she should be wandering around there for a bit yet this morning.

Hi Todd,

Yep, your wife was here today. She had a great time listening to the free music. Nice gal!
