Just wanted to let the steel guitar family know that I am OK, and that I was there 35-40 feet away in the hall when the fellow that got shot and killed yesterday morning, (11:30am) was in my computer class. I do not know all the details as of yet, but will return to school Thursday morning and will know more. I thank God that he had his hand upon me. You NEVER know when or WHERE something like this will take place. Had a little hard time sleeping last night to say the least. BTW, I will be graduating as a certified Jewler May 8th. I have been going for 2 LONG years now, but, have my own buisness now. The VA has been very good to me, and I am very thankful for this bright future ahead.  |

| Ron, very glad to hear you are ok. Very scary when someone starts shooting in a crowd of people. Sounds like you had an angel watchin' out for you to keep you safe. There was a guy at our show last Saturday night from Natchitoches. He said he goes to alot of steel shows but I'm terrible remembering names. If you get a weekend out this summer come to Eureka and be my guest at the show. Good luck, ESnow |

Thank You for your response to this incident. Sometimes I wonder........
I would love to come up this summer to meet you and hear so great music.
We are playing (for the 5th time) for Trinny again at the Bedrock in Natchitoches, LA. this Saturday night.
