John Ciambotti (bass player)

I just heard that Dr. John Ciambotti passed away.
Does anyone have any info on what happened?

He was a great bass player out in the LA scene, with everyone from Jim Lauderdale, Elvis Costello, Huey Lewis, Lucinda Williams, and John Prine.

Yeah...this is sad and unexpected. John was a very cool guy and the most solid bass player.
