I’ve been toying around with a Beringher Vamp 2 for a while. It’s OK, but I’d like something simpler. I really only need reverb, EQ and a tuner, not a modeler.

Are there any simple all in one boxes you guys would recommend for steel?

thanks

Pocket Pods are OK for what you seem to want. The reverb is not "perfect", as it's a 2.0 guts. A Podxt is a lot bigger, but the reverb is perfect.

100$ vs 200$ (used)

Pocket Pods also have delay, overdrive, compression, and I think some other effects as well as a tuner.

Get yourself one of the digitech RP series units. They have lexicon reverbs and very good EQs. There are several diferent one in a wide price range.

As long as the RP digitech is at least a 150 or 155 and up you'll be fine. The earier and the smaller ones didn't have the adequate circuitry or the lexicon reverbs.
