Bolivar, OH ? Many thanks for all of those who attended the Hummingbird Studio steel guitar jam on Sunday, March 9th. It was a full afternoon of great music by the 20+ steels and several great vocalists.

The next jam is Sunday, April 6th from 1:00 to 7:00 at Kickin Kountry in Bolivar, Ohio. (Exit 93 off I-77, east on 212 ? approximately one (1) mile on the left beside the Giant Eagle Store.

Everyone is welcome! Bring your family, your steel, bring a friend who may not be familiar to the steel and introduce them to a full afternoon of music.

Raffles and door prizes are among the activities for the day and refreshments are offered by the staff of Kickin Kountry.

Congratulations to the Hummingbird Music Studio of Sugarcreek, Ohio in celebrating its fifteen years in the business. Continued success.

Looking ahead: The Hummingbird Studio will be hosting the Celebration 2004 Steel Guitar Show on April 23,24,25,2004. The show, once again, will be held at the Holiday Inn, New Philadelphia, Ohio. Details will be given as they are finalized throughout the year.

Thank you.

Sherry,
How far is Bolivar from Medina? Might attend the jam . I'm just a beginner, but, might be able to get some pointers and meet some area pickers. I see you're from West Salem, just down the road. Happen to know where a guy might get some lessons?
Thanks, Scott

Scott, from Medina to Bolivar should take about 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 mins. Go south from Medina to Rt.224 East to 77 South. Go thru Canton, Ohio on 77 South then about 10 more miles to the Bolivar Exit off 77. Turn Left, then about 3/4 mile on Left behind the Giant Eagle store is Kickin Country.

I'm not bringing my steel, but might bring my bass and/or Telecaster, if that's ok. See you all Sunday.
