WTB, Fender reproduction Twin Reverb faceplate, black of course. I'm redoing a sliver face twin reverb and would like to put a black faceplate on it. I always liked the look of a black face.

There are many dealers for such an item. Google returned 6,570 results for the search "Fender Twin faceplate black". Good luck!

At one time Fender sold a faceplate for the '65 Reissue from the parts dept. I bought one and the holes for the pots needed to be enlarged slightly to fit the old style pots on the SF Twins, but it worked great.
I bought a third-party ebay BF plate for a Vibrolux Reverb, and it was ok, but it seemed to be some sort of 'transfer' or overlay. It wasn't exactly like the silk-screened actual Fender plates. That said, it looked fine from a couple of feet away.
Didn't Fender chase a bunch of those 'unauthorized' repro faceplate vendors off of ebay a while back? Haven't looked lately... kinda like the repro decal guys I guess.. they seem to come and go.

No help in your quest for a faceplate but it brought to mind a job I had in El Monte Ca.40 years ago.I worked for a company that made the faceplates for Fender..Fretboards for the steel too..I think I might have a couple of "rejects" stashed away in my junk collection.Maybe I'll get around to sorting stuff out,someday..
