Tom Brumley was one of my idols as a young steel player back in Minnesota and much of my style today was due to his incredible playing. I recently wrote this new instrumental and dedicated it him. I hope you enjoy it. The link to the song is at the bottom.

Hi Albert, great job. I knew it was a great song when you first played it in Iowa last fall. Hope everyone who hears it will enjoy it as much.

You really caught the favor of Tom's playing with this tribute, and I am sure that the Brumley family will be pleased with your tribute.

A very pretty song, and some great picking. I heard a lot of Tom in your rendition. I'll bet he was smiling down on you when you wrote, and recorded it. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Albert, thanks so much for thinking enough of Tom that you wrote a tribute to him. You definitely have the Brumley influence in your playing and tone. Tom would have been proud. Thank you so much. He was the best person in the world. I miss him so much.

Thanks for all the kind comments. The guitar player is Val Lupescu, a member of my church here in Nashville. I have not worked with a better guitar player, other than Paul Burton and Joe Arveiw but all three are very different styles. Val is a "class act" here in Nashville and I am thankful for his work on my project.

Albert and Rolene : Congratulations to Albert for this grand new Instumental in a special tribute to our beloved Tom. Yes, Rolene , i am certain Mr. Tom would be so proud to hear this fine piece of music deicated to him.. I , too , can definitely hear your Tom playing this number, with a whole lot of Tom's stylings and sound so dominantly to the ears.. We miss him, too and God be with you. And thank you, Albert for your generous offering to the world of pedal steel. I wpuld love to have a copy of any new CD with this number there-on..Bernie

Hey Albert, thanks for giving Bud's Bounce a baby brother...now they can bounce all over the place..LOL. Seriously, it is a great song and you did a terrific job...glad you and that Williams 700 are getting some air time.

This is the first time I hve ever heard you play, and I am impressed with it. you really picked it clean.I posted a comment on the site, I would give you 10 stars on that, Albert. That is some great picking.

Thanks again for the kind comments. I will be performing this song at the Dallas show at 8:00 Saturday morning.
