I have been using pyro2004 for quiet a while with a sony stero cassrtt player tc-we475 this a dual deck play recordi use it record from u-tube then record to my computer. my computer an xp is messing up and i'm trying vista. when i install pyro2004 in vista every thing works except the windows mixer where i set the volume for each song i record. seems its not compatable. i have down loaded several others none really work. has any one used a newer version of pyro that would be the same as the pyro2004 but works with vista?

I have a copy of an older Pyro (may be the 2004 version) but I quit using it a long time ago. You are better off with the free Audacity for recording. Pyro is also a CD burner but I didn't like that either.
I have Cakewalk Sonar (pro) recording studio program and that is great. |

i only used pyro to to record analog to my computer, didnt use the burner. the analog to digital worked great, simple and easy. am going to have to go to vista [ ugh ] and the pyro isnt compatable, i think the audacity will work fine.
