For those of you that have long held that the Black, Mica, Emmons, Push-Pull is one of the BEST and with the most TONE of any/all........now's your chance to go for it.

I just saw it on eBay......... a 1987 model with single coil pickups, 8-pedals + 6 knee levers. It appears to be in immaculate condition with no obvious signs of wear and/or abuse.

I don't know WHO is offering it for auction......and don't really care, however, with all the day to day pro's and con's about BLACK, MICA, EMMONS, push-pulls here on the SGF, I would feel really guilty if I failed to give you guys/gals a heads-up on this beauty.

Why not share what you think about it? Is it priced right?

I know my 1972 Emmons Push/Pull has been a real prize, next to my quad BIGSBY, in my stable of fine guitars.

Can't understand why there hasn't been more interest in this beautiful g'tar.

Not a mechanical or causmetic(sp?) flaw in this late model Emmons. All aluminum parts polished to high luster. Recently gone thro' by a northwest Emmons tech-kinda guy.

I tho't it would have been snatched by now. E-Bay is where it's at.

It's not mine; never played it; but it is BLACK Mica!

Hi, Ray ...
Just saw your post and the guitar on eBay ... what a beauty. I wish I could go for it (I've been lusting after a black Emmons push/pull ever since I lost my '76 Emmons).

But, unfortunately, I'm on unemployment and barely scratching by at present. However, if I had a good job and the money to buy it, I'd definitely be going for it. Smile

Jim Lindsey........I just figured out how YOU could get that BLACK MICA Emmons Push-Pull........

Wal-Mart has 'Greeters'.........and I understand they hire almost anyone, that should include unemployed musicians as well, right?

Just something to think about, eh?

I understand this beautiful BLACK MICA Emmons has gone to a new home. Someone will be getting some great music out of it, for sure.
