Does anybody know anything about this guitar? I've never seen one before and can't find much info on it...

There are a few folks who have talked about them on the Forum. Use the search function set to the Pedal Steel section and spell it Pierce instead. I know that a guy named Ray Krick had something to do with them, he is/was a pal of the guy who built them. Ray has played his own builds since the late '50's. Just lives around the corner from me, I'll see what he knows.

looks like a pull release with an interesting string-thru-the-finger. For 200 bucks how could you go wrong?

I believe the builders name is Ralph Pierce.

I saw his personal PSG in the early 1970s, a single neck guitar with 16 strings. (Bb-6th tuning?)

Ah yes, the correct spelling yielded search results!

Another one came up on Ebay:

I like the one for $200 better!
