I found this guitar for-sale here in N.B about 200 miles from here on Ebay and i've never seen a Sho-Bud with those endplates and it doesn't have any decals on it also, does anyone can tell me for sure it's a real Sho-Bud?.

I'm not sure what it is, but it's not a Sho-Bud.

Looks like an early Fulawka, but the absence of Ed's signature and logo make it doubtful. You need more pics to determine for sure. As Bob said, it's not a Sho~Bud, and definitely not a mid-'70s example. The earlier 'Buds that looked like this one were Permanents. This one has a modern changer.

I thought it was a Sho-Bud at first, just 'cuz of the suit decal, but he sent me a bunch of detailed pictures and it's definitely not a Sho-Bud. It is, however, very well made (at least from what I can tell by the pics) and worth every penny of the opening bid!

It is NOT a Shobud and NOT a Fulawka. BUT.....
That is Eddie Fulawka's changer fingers to a tee but not his mounting/tailpiece. That does look like Ed's handmade pickup. Close to his keyhead but NOT. Those are Ed make mechanical parts underneath all the way to the canadian screws(american's use phillip or flat head)But Eddie didn't put it together. Looks like a possible Ed finish/cabinet and fret screen; but suspect.
Here's the deal. I know a handful of Canadian Steel guitar builders through the years that are awesome builders. They never produced their guitars to the public; only built them for theirselves and friends/students.
Ed Fulawka; being the most kindest sweetest big-hearted guy you could ever meet....actually supplied and made parts for all these guys that wanted/needed them; to build their own steels.
So there ya have it.
You can say it is a hand-made Canadian Pedal steel guitar.
Ricky

There are things that look seriously Fulawka (fretboard graphics and pickups for example) and other things that absolutely don't (keyhead being but one example). Looks like it has had a lot of stuff moved around underneath over the years. Could be a very cool axe for someone if the price stays low enough to make it worth the risk.
