This may be interesting shopping for a steel on Ebay.
The first link is to the Ebay ad.

The second link is to a thread about The Dart.

I know Bobby AKA the dart65 but not as well as Herb or Roger. I have no dog in this hunt. This may be helpful then again I may get slammed. Buyer Beware is the key.
I may not have brought this up except that there is a Promat in the pictures AND an Emmons. He may have included the Emmons to show what he was comparing the Promat to but, again it could be confusing.

In the ad, he refers to it as a "Four Wheel Drive". I've never heard that term applied to a psg.

He's also got the Emmons for sale, which he somewhat obliquely refers to in the ad copy. He recently sold an older Emmons to a well-known local player and the deal went smoothly, fairly, and cleanly.

I've known Bobby a long time, and he's had a very unfortunate and troubled life the last 10 years or so, which is no excuse for some things he's done or attempted, only a reason.

I sold my 68 Emmons on Ebay back in July and I kept getting bizarre E-mails and I had no choice, but to post his questions and my answers in the ad. Here is a summary:

Quote:

Dear thedartt65,

I thought Einstein was dead:

thedartt65 has been bothering me with luny E-mails. He thinks he has a bid on this Emmons guitar, he thinks I am a guy named Gary Steele. Here is a sample:
"no , this is the same parts and peace's that you, "Gary Steele" was kicked off the steelguitar forum for misrepersenting Cancell my bid and I will leave you alone.Pay attention, you better. thedartt65 PS: You gotta get up real early in the morning to out fox me and good playing steel guitar player's"

Me:
"This not Gary Steele and you do not have a current bid, genius. The 2 bids are by user 1Beeper1. You are confused. You must think that marking the item to watch it was bidding on it. My feedback is 100%, unlike yours, so I take offense to being falsely accused. I doubt you had enough money to buy it anyway. You have no bids on this guitar. So, go away!"

thedartt65:
"1. My feedback is 100%. 2. I did bid #2 bidder. 3.I have enough money to buy you, if I want. You "are" G...Steele, ebay said you are. Thanks for cancell my bid. Please, go away...thedartt"

Me:
"According to Ebay, Your feedback is:

71.4% Positive Feedback
Member since Nov-26-07 in United States
Location: TX, United States"

theFartt65:
"Don't give me that Church stuff. I know about you. eboy said you are G... Steele, "privately"."

theFartt65 again after no reply:
"Cancell my bid before I go any further please. I want to get away from you, steelguitar forum, and eboy"

I apologize for having to do this, but this guy does not have clue and won't stop bother me!
Whoa!
