I marked it down I will see ya - Most musicians would come for the food alone.

Always a great time, good music and great fellowship amongst all that attend.

Well folks, another Yuma steel jam has come and gone. What a time we had though. We had some great pickers this year. We had big Jim Barron, Frank Carter,Larry Cummings, Dave Menafee,Merrill Fich, Wes Bakken, Clarence Rule. Al Bashem, and myself. We started at nine and went until four. We had a bunch of people who watched all day. We also had Joe Naylor from Phoenix come down with his steel seats. We wouldnt let him play..( he didn't bring his steel). But he sold some seats. Any way , we has a blast. Sorry you wernt here.

If you were not there you missed a good one.

Thanks Hap for having the jam

This is always a good warm up for the show in Phoenix.

Hap had been in the association since the beginning

And besides that I sold some steelseats

Many of the people at the jam will be in Phoenix later this week but some are working.
