By now I hope that most of you are aware that our big show featuring Hal Rugg, Mike Smith, PeeWee Whitewing, Bill Stafford and a host of others will be in Apache Junction on January 25th and 26th. In an effort to accommodate the expected crowd, just how many of you out there plan to attend? For details see our new web site by Mike Smith at www.swsteelguitar.com.

Billy...I'd sure like to be there to hear all the great line-up you got....especially my good friend Bill Stafford....man he's a great player....plays the fire out of that 14 string Excel......I heard him practicing just this morning when I called to talk to him about our Associations next meeting/jam. We had Pee Wee Whitewing for our last one, and man he really turned the tap so to speak....a really fine gentleman, indeed....I'll have to miss this one, but you all have a great time.......HAL

I would have come to the jam but Troy is coming, he will be using all of his picks, playing all 20 stings and insists on even using an amp.

This attitude really turns me off, leave some licks for the rest of us. Image

Sounds like a great jam, knockum out Troy.

Hey Larry, You are right, I will play both licks and I will be using all 20 strings, but 10 of them will only be used to make little funny lines on my arm. Wish you could be there so I could steel another lick from you. Oh yea, I think they are going to let me bring an amp too!

For those that might be interested, I will have a setup of 14 string instruments for you to try. You can use headsets and play along without anyone hearing if you like.
