Just noticed that Vice Gill is at the Grenada theatre in Dallas on Friday 7th March - presumbly with Jay Dee? Anyone know where it is or got a contact address so I can enquire about tickets?
And - will they be appearing at the TSGA show? |

That would be the Granada Theater.

Good venue. Old movie house. Small, cash bar out front. Lots of good restaurants in the area. Area known locally as "Lower Greenville". located on Greenville Ave.

What a BUMMER this is. Vince is here at the same time the TSGA is having their Jamboree.
What a pity. I just won't give up TSGA for Vince even if JayDee is with him. I have been led to understand that JayDee is with Vince only on West Coast Appearances but I might be wrong.

Clive,
Greenville Ave goes North/South kind of parallel and East of "North Central Expressway" aka US75.
Greenville Ave. is North and East of downtown Dallas a few miles.
A major intersection is Mockingbird Lane that runs East/West. The Granada is a mile or two South of Mockingbird Lane.

Hi Clive,
Southfork is actually located in Murphy Texas. If you have a map find the town of Plano which is north on US75. IF you go east about 8 to 10 miles you will see the town of Murphy. That is where Southfork is located.
Hope to see you in Big D

.....and be prepared to accept that the real Southfork is much "smaller" than it appeared on television. The only thing that is "larger than life" is J.R.'s bedroom with the elevated bed! www.genejones.com |
