Eddie - I just replied to your email, but here are the settings for anybody else that might want to try this out on their Tubefex, Transtubefex, or ProFex II - this setting makes no use whatsoever of the tube gain section.
3B:
Type = Guitar
L.gain = +40
Mid Frq = 750 Hz
M.Gain = -25
H.Gain = +40
Mid Swp = 100
Delay:
Output Level = 15
Type = Tapped
L.Dly = 361ms
R.Dly = 361ms
Fdback = 25%
Tape Sim = Off
Mix = 100%
Reverb:
Output Level = 70
Type = Spring
Size = Large
P.Dly = 3ms
Time = 2.9s
Damp = Off
Mix = 100%
This continues to be my main 'go to' setting for pedal steel - it's clean, powerful, and just plain awesome, to my tastes. Most nights, my rig is steel => Sho Bud VP => this Tubefex setting => NV 112 set pretty flat - maybe a hair of amp EQ tweaking to the room, but not very much. Thanks to Tony Rankin for coming up with this.
