HELLO ALL YOU PICKERS AND GRINNERS, WE ARE STARTING OUR 2010 JAM SESSIONS ON JAN 16, 10 AM TO 3PM AND EVERYONE IS INVITED.

We will meet at the same place,(Country Music Museum, 3725 SE 29th street in Del City). Del City is 5 minutes east of OKC on I-40. Give me a call if you need any info.

Please log on if you will be able to attend, and help keep this bumped up. Thanks for your participation in our effort to keep it country, and just have fun.

Seems like a long time since I was not able to attend the last one. Look forward to attending. I see some of the others have cancelled their's so we would welcome your attendance at ours. Let's continue the fun!!! Also, we need to step up and assist Leroy letting him know if you plan to attend. Without Leroy, where would we be?

Hi Leroy, You don't know me, but I am a used to be steel guitar picker. I was never a very good picker, but I support the steel and pure country music as I can. I will make one of your get togethers some day soon but out of town for Jan. I live in East Central Okla., Keota, Okla., so it is like 150 miles for me. Just wanted to say hello and good luck. J.R. Thanks for your post and kind words. I think we are going to have 5 or 6 steel players that I know about plus our band (drums, bass, lead guitar, fiddle, keyboard, and Wayne on vocal plus rhythm guitar).

Some of our loyal troops are having health problems, and are otherwise unable to make it this time. We need to keep Gene Jone's wife in our prayers, she has a problem with her heart and will be undegoing treatment soon.

Looking forward to the saturday JAM.

LEROY

Many thanks to all you loyal friends that made our JAM a success. Special thanks to Michelle for filling in on drums, Corkey for coming a long way, and Hutch for singing/MC.

Our next JAM will be on Feb 20.
