I download quite a few steel guitar and woodworking videos to my hard drive and like to put them on DVD's so I can watch them in my man's cave with food and drink at a later date.

The problem I have is, I use Nero 7 Ultra Edition to burn with and it will not recognize .mov, .flv files and the like. It likes .avi and .mp4 files. A lot of videos have to be downloaded with RealPlayer and that's what I have to deal with.

I have converted .flv files with free software with good success but .mov files always seem to come out blotchy and blurry.

So........ here's the questions:

1- Is there a reasonably priced burning program that will take just about any file extension and burn to DVD?

2- Is there a reasonably price converter program that will convert most file extension with good quality?

Thanks,
Jim

Cal,

I think I worked it out. I thought I would have had a ton of thoughts by now.

Anyway, update my Nero 7 Ultra and low and behold, it now can do the extensions I was looking for. It was kind of a long slow process but if it works it's worth it.

Going to try it now.
