Well, we had our first Kansas Steel Guitar Association meeting and jam Sunday. Myself and Lee Ogle from Baxter Springs, Douglas Hudson from Pittsburg and Marty Neer from Coffeyville had our steels set up. Robert Taylor from Baxter Springs and Roger Osbourn (President of the NEOSGA) of Siloam Springs, Ar. showed up. What a nice surprise. Kyle (son of Lee) and Trent on bass and drums. A good time was had by all and we're looking forward to the 1st Sunday of Feb. for our next meeting. Food and drinks were supplied by family members and we thank them for their support. The building was a nice meeting place and has plenty of room for other steel guitars. Anyone and everyone is welcome and we thank Bobby Lee and the forum for allowing us to be a part of it, to spread the music of the steel guitar.

Thanks Ray for the info. I hope Austin gets to come to one of your meetings some day. Austin is doing very good with his picking we think. Of course you might not be able to go on what we say since we are his grandparents!!!!!! Jerry and Austin will be playing at the Dallas Steel Convention in march. They will be playing at 8:30am on saturday. There may not be too many up and in the room at that time, but at least it's a start for Austin and he LOVE'S to play. We are going down on thursday. Hope to see you there. Jerry says hello. Donna
