I was just listening to the steel solo from "I've Just Destroyed The World" on Rebel and Ricky's site. It is amazing.
I would like to hear the whole song! But I think it's only available on vinyl. Unless... does anyone know of where I can get my hands on a CD or digital copy of this whole song?

Tim I agree its some of the sweetest steel playing I've ever heard. I was driving home from a gig the first time I heard it and I had to pull over to listen. Then John did it again in the break.
I played the song at a few steel shows and even my meager attempt was well received by the audience.
If anyone has or knows where a copy can be obtained I sure would like to have one.

Tim, there are several versions of this song available on I-Tunes--Willy Nelson, Ray Price, Curtis Potter, Will Taylor and Jim Brooks. Any idea which one of these you heard?

Jim,
If you go to the John Hughey site as Jon mentions; the tab for the instrumental version of I've Just Destroyed the World is available also.
It, along with 5 other cuts from the Lost in the Feeling CD are listed under Merchandise.
The remaining cuts from the CD will be available soon also.

the only version of this song worth hearing is by john's singer, conway twitty. that intro and solo is the coolest thing ever heard on radio. next would be lost in the feeling!
and for you who think of george jones as the best country singer ever....it was conway!
