Do these pop off? I forget and don't want to pry it broke. I'd like to gently clean the cone without taking the speaker out.

Assuming you are referring to the speaker grille, yes, they are attached with hook and look fasteners at 4 corners. You may have to pry a corner loose or if you have a tool with a hook, maybe slip up behind one corner.

Two flat screwdrivers to pry at each of the bottom corners will allow you to remove the grill frame.
