I’ll be playing steel guitar this Wed., Dec. 30, and Thurs., New Year’s Eve, at the Cowboy Country in North Long Beach, CA. The band is the amazing Hill Country.

Try to make it! Let’s show that lousy 2009 the door!!

Got a couple of new gizmos I may be trying out: Hardwire DL-8 delay pedal; and BOSS BE-5 vintage multi-FX unit. Come let me know how they sound in the room, please.

Band plays from 8:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. on Wed., and 9:00 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Cowboy Country
3321 E. South St., North Long Beach

Ages 21+, strictly enforced.

Thurs., Dec. 31
$15 admission for special New Year’s Eve party (that’s cheap, folks!). Probably no dance lessons, but phone the club for info.

Tickets for this big night may be available at the door, but for assured seats, please order your tickets at the club’s website:

Hey John...Happy New Year to you and the crazy Hill Country Boys! They're pretty good when they're not punching each other out backstage. Winking

I'll be resurrecting my old tux one more time at the country club gig in Palm Springs where I once again am reminded that money does indeed buy happiness.

New York New York here I come. Oh Well
