I'm looking forward to this. When do you expect it to be released? Any preview of what songs are included? Who was on the sessions, other than you? |

Im on the Heart Of Texas record label with Landon Dodd and The Dancehall Drifters and I know that the album was recorded at The Heart Of Texas Studio in Brady Texas.I was not at the session, but heres the crew they usually use on most of their sessions.
Justin Trevino is the Producer/Engineer
Bass -Jake Hooker Or Justin Trevino
Drums - Jim Loessberg
Flat Top Acoustic _ Justin Trevino
Fiddle - Reggie Rueffer
Steel - Usually Dicky Overbey or Jim Loessberg, but this time it sounds like Jamie must have done the session.
Electric Guitar - Randy Lindley or Charlie Walton
Im not sure about Piano could be the great steeler Randy Rhienhard
Harmony work was most likely Justin Trevino and/or Amber Digby.
Again im not trying to butt in,I just know these musicians are the ones they normally use.Hope this helps and I know I cant wait to hear it,Im a Georgette fan !!! |

I am sure that the current state of the recording industry is very discouraging. However, I believe if fresh, new talent will continue to put out material that either a revolt will take place or an entirely new market will open. |

I agree. I believe we have to create the new market for that kind of material by keeping it separated from the rest. So what if the country market has been taken over by pop/rock. We can cry over spilled milk, or try to make it an important part of a stand alone music style. Georgette just might have the genes, talent, and connections to make this happen. I'm looking forward to hearing the CD. |
