Sam...
Guess you will just have to come early and stay late.....thats okay...Arizona is a nice place. Actually I don't think Ray meant to exclude anyone outside of Arizona that may wish to attend. We welcome all of you, and it doesn't matter if you are from Arizona or not. In addition to Hal and Mike, we may have another nationally known steel picker here. To be announced at a later date. Start making your plans to attend...this will be a BIG ONE.

We are looking forward to joinin' up.

Any thought as to what the name of this association will be?

Oh joy rapture thrill spasm quiver quake...i'm all twiterpated.

On the real world side, do you have a motel that will give the out of town folks a good rate. That might be hard to find in Jan.

Bob, I'll look around for the best prices, the more staying over night the better the chances for a lower rate.

I'll be there! I did not get a chance to make the first one because I was out of town. I'm still a relatively new steel guitar player and I am looking forward to meeting all of you. Looks like there is a great deal of interest in this new association and I hope the folks in New Mexico, Colorado, California, and will visit. I know I would travel that far for gravy and biscuits and steel playin'!! It just don't get any better!!!

Ray, I sure am glad you guys are getting it together way out there in the desert. Just sorry I moved away before it happened. I lived in Sierra Vista during the 70's and 80's and played in every honky tonk bar south of Tucson. On my weekends off I would drive up the big city and hear my buddy Danny Snead play at Shanes and Mr Lucky's. Is he still around, haven't heard from him in years.
Good Luck with your new organization. I will monitor your progress.
