Western Swing HOF member & good friend Lynn Ward had what appears to be a stroke this morning. Please pray for his complete recovery & for God to give strength to his family during this time. Lynn is a great singer & great person,as anyone who knows him knows,so please pray.

I am SO shocked and sorry to hear about Lynn. I called my buddy Dwain Carger who introduced me to Lynn , to advise him. My sincere prayers go out to Michelle......Lynn had an awesome voice and the Swing world will miss him terribly.

What a day! We lost both Lynn and Curly Musgrave in the same day. Two great voices have left us.

I will miss him as well. I had to the honor of knowing and even playing a few times with Lynn. A true gentle man with a heart as big as Texas!

Sure going to miss that golden voice.

Lynn was a good friend. I will miss him very much. I always loved hearing him sing those good Texas shuffles. Sad
