I think this is a change for the better.
Friday has always been a day of nothing much to do.
Plus now maybe people that would normally stay over on Sunday night will come in on Thursday and enjoy the Hall of Fame Show.
Now that some side shows are being allowing during "Steel Guitars In Concert", the convention should hold something for everyone.
And with this being a Holiday weekend, people will have the time to get home and enjoy the actual Holiday with family.
Thanks for making this change Scotty and for all you do for the steel guitar world.

Unfortunately, it's looking like we won't be able to come to St. Louis again this year for the convention. This will make 3 years in a row I've had to miss. The bad economy, long with my job loss last year has basicly driven us into the poor house. In times like these you have to arrange your priorities in order just to survive. But for those of you lucky enough to attend, have a great time and enjoy yourself.
