In the studio the other night I plugged my guitar (Show-Pro) directly into my Rev-Pre>Furlong cabinet. Amazing sound. I then re-inserted my current volume pedal and others into the circuit. All thinned out the sound. Especially irritating the 3,4,5 strings. Back and forth with others listening and everyone agreed dramatically.
That caused a call to Mickey Adams and he challenged me to try the Telonics. As much as I hate to admit it, the pedal is amazing. Granted after many hours as a recording engineer I know I hear things others don't, but this is one sweet product and worth the price.
Great job guys... guess I need a backup now... |

Dave, thanks for your post regarding the Mullen pedal..I was worried about the weekend logistics, but it seems it was expedited as requested. We are happy to hear that you "hear the difference"...There most certainly is one..!! Thanks for allowing me to assist you in your purchase!!...Mickey! _________________ ARTIST RELATIONS: MSA GUITARS

I was in the market to buy a new amp in hope's of improving tone. I got the pedal and can't believe the difference it made. I have a PV Session 500 and a PV studio pro 112. I use the studio pro most often because of the weight of the 500. Coupled with the new pedal and a Lexicon MX 200, I no longer see the need to acquire a better amp. I can really hear a difference between my Carter and my Mullen now, and it is not just a guess and by golly thing either. It made my Carter really stand out and I don't know that I could ask for better tone from the Mullen. The pedal is worth every dollar and more. |

For my comparison, I have both Hilton and Goodrich non-pot pedals. Both are good pedals and I didn't think there would be a difference. I was rather surprised there was a difference. I can only describe it as like removing filters and letting everything come through without being impeded. I am not very techically oriented, so I can only describe what my ears hear. |

The pedals I compared to were fine pedals, both pot and non-pot.
I just hate messing with pots, strings, etc. so pot pedals were eliminated in a previous journey.
I'm hoping the USB port will let me download a bunch of licks off the forum... |

David, I didn't know that is what the USB port is for, wow, now I am really impressed. I like the pedal the way it is so much, I haven't even messed around with the various configurations. I did have to laugh at my wife though. She came into the music room to call me for supper and she got this puzzled look on her face and said, "What's making that blue light?"
I have a Goodrich pot pedal sitting here that looks like brand new, only trouble the pot is scratchy and I just don't have the patience to fool with the string, that is why I have the other two non-pot pedals, now three. If I fix the pot pedal I will have three backups. |

I have the new pedal and Hilton. I like both but the Telonics says not to put any "stomp boxes" between the guitar and pedal.
I sent an e-mail to the address on the manual but haven't received an answer. I have a couple of amps that do not have an effects loop so was wondering if I can put them after the pedal. The only problem I had before was if I put my BoBro after my Hilton, I get a hum so I always have to have it between the guitar and pedal.
Anyone have any experiances with this?

Roger,
I would highly recommend that you get in touch with Tom Bradshaw. I have a pedal coming from him as we speak.
He will treat you right. |

Dave makes the best pedal on the market. His service is uncompromising and he's a great guy. I initially thought the price was a little high, but when I began to use it, I realized right away it was worth every cent. Hilton and Goodrich are good pedals, but this one is simply great. |
