It was a fun meeting. Randy suprised us by pulling out his harmonica and blowing some nice solos! And the Christmas carols were a nice touch too.

I look forward to February having Dale Thomas here from Iowa. He's a great talent and a great guy. Mark it down.

It was another good meeting. Great playing on some great guitars by some great players with some great snacks. Who knew Randy could play the harp like that.
Some good teaching from Billy, some of us need to be reminded on not thinking just linear. Will have videos up in the next couple of days.
Here's the guitars

Good times, good times!!

The teaching segment was especially good this time, I thought. Thanks Billy.

I loved the Christmas tunes - and Randy's harmonica playing was a neat surprise.

Wishing you all the very best of holidays, and a very happy and prosperous New Year!

I just noticed that 3 of the 4 pedals used at the meeting are Goodrich. And I didn't mention some of the great one liners that appeared out of nowhere yesterday.
Here's wishing everyone a safe and Happy Holidays and a Better than ever New Year.

This one is Randy Boyd playing and Singing White Christmas. Once again I would like to thank Jody, Billy and Patty for putting on these meetings. No matter how long you've played you can find something or someone interesting and something learned at the meetings.

I'm not trying to take Jody's spot but the meetings happen the first Sunday of the month.
Everyone is invited not just steel players.
Singers, guitar players or just people who like to hear steel guitar music are welcome to come out.
Jody, Billy and Patty are great host and make everyone feel welcome and a part of the meeting.
Try to make it out sometime, I think you'll enjoy it.
