Billy Dee wrote all songs on his new CD called "Heart Don't Fail Me Now" and the Linda Lay Project will soon be out in all Cracker Barrel's.
Feel free to browse my New Music and Photos site....that will feature a mass quantity of song clips and steel guitar and show photos.

I already got the Billy D. album. It's pretty darn good and I think many people will enjoy it for just the strong songwriting and good singing. It's just a bonus that the steel player and the guitar player (Redd V.) play some super tasty licks that compliment the songs perfectly.

Peter; most likely you don't have the windows media player......does it give you a prompt to update or install?? Or if the java player comes up....it may not play automatically.....you may have to click the play button....ha.....check it out and see.

Janice, We're currently working like dogs on the back-up tracks. Redd and Ricky will be recording their stuff in December. I'm not sure when Ty will be done with the vocals and not sure how long the mix-down, packaging etc. will take. But we're headed in the right direction, please be patient with us. Thanks!

Ricky, thanks. FYI, the java player looks broken: no controls. And i cannot really see what is going on in the Microsoft window, because the javascript keeps the window small (for the player). Also, I have the latest Media player (I think) and I can play everybody else's .wma files. I think using non-Microdof stuff may improve the communication.

Hey Ricky, Linda Lay, is this the same one that played bass and sang with the Masters of the Steel String Guitar, in 2002? And was or is in a group called Appalachian Trail? If it is, this should be a hell of CD.

Dave; yes that's her......ain't she great???
Well folks if your using Netscape browser.....well DON'T....ha
...we've only inegrated it with Internet Explorer(the one you should have anyway).
Netscape is slow and freezes....and therefore I never use it....and we won't integrate it with Netscape...so you won't hear it.
Internet Explorer is FREE....and windows media player is FREE.....and are good things to have on your computer anyway...so when the other garbage freezes up and stops working and/or running very very slow on your computer.......than you'll still have the good stuff.
Have fun.

Hey Ricky
You do Netscape a GREAT dis-service. Have you looked at Netscape 7 or Mozilla?
(1) and very important - it does not have the security holes that IE does
(2) it works fast
(3) for anyone who wants to hear the clips with Netscape just enter
http://www.milliondollarweb.com/RickyDavis/images/SendmethePillow.mp3
replacing the name of the song with the one required, and it will doenload to your own PC when you can listen in comfort.
Sorry Ricky but I won't use IE on my PC (and I used to work for an ISP company)
Regards Colin

Hey Colin; that's cool.....
Yes I bad mouthed Netscape and dis-serviced them....cause they dis-serviced me.....and IE has always been perfect for me. I guess if your in this computer life long enough......your gunna get burned by some product eventually....
It's kinda like that hundreds of guys bad mouthing UPS.....when I've shipped lots of stuff with them and never had a prob.
So to each it's own......and what ever works for you....and I'll try not to bad mouth things that I don't like.....as someone else may LIKE it..."Common Curtesy".
Anyway...thanks for the cool info and link and know-how for the folks wanting to play the songs through your info above.
So here are the 4 songs by Linda Lay and Billy Dee.
Linda Lay/Send Me The Pillow
Linda Lay/We Could
Linda Lay/Mansion On The Hill
Linda Lay/Today I Started Loving You Again
Billy Dee/Heart Don't Fail Me Now
Billy Dee/New Tune On An Old Fiddle
Billy Dee/May Your Heart Rest In Pieces
Billy Dee/Your Memory Wins
Ok Now Have fun....ha.

Hi Ricky, my apoligies to you. I played a solo Haw gig out on Bee Caves rd last night and forgot to tell you about it. Even if you could not stand my playing you would have appreciated the 18yr old haw girl I brung up from Seabrooh to dance. Good show. I am trying to stay away from the Austin traffic as much as I can so I am playing in Austin only when I have too. I have a gig at the 4 seasons in dec. I WILL let you know just as soon as I get the contract back. CC
