Fender Blues Deville, 2002

Hi, I wonder if someone knows where the first preamp tube is placed on the grid of my Fender Blues Deville, I have just found some 1960 RCA tubes, 6L6, and 12AX7, the guy said use the gold pin tube for the first stage of the amp, any help would be great thanx, Des
