I was thinking about the Line-6 ToneCore Roto-machine pedal.
Anybody using this pedal?

I've used the Line 6 MM-4 Modulation Modeler pedal and I like the rotating speaker effect in that quite a bit. I usually use the drum & horn model (ala Leslie 147) for steel, but last night I tried the rotating drum (ala Fender Vibratone) and it was easier to get a good steel sound with that than with the drum & horn model.

I'll bet the algorithm in the Tone Core pedal is pretty much the same, so it probably sounds great.

I ordered the line-6 from Musicians Friend. It came yesterday. This is a cool pedal. Definitely a keeper.

I have one, and it's great. I tried a lot of simulators when I bought this, and it was one of the best (and one of the cheapest and most rugged.) Use the leslie setting, and put your fast speed around 3 o'clock, your gain at 1, and the blend at 10 or 11.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that.
