I'm a new member who has visited this site many, many times over the past 2 or 3 years. You blokes are possibly the most interesting people in the universe! Finally joined up last night :D . I've developed an unusual technique :? for playing lap steel. If you have the inclination, check it out:

Tim,

Thanks for coming out of the closet with that one!

I have long thought about using a ring type slide on my left thumb along with a tone bar for hammer-ons and cord modification. I never thought of how you have done it. Great work! You got your "Mojo Workin" man. That Teisco sounds hot, very cool. Open E tuning?

Best,

Rich
