Can anyone tell me what this Martin might be worth.Braces are in place , bridge & tuners are origional. Some battle scars, but a real player. Comes with case.

$1500-$2000, I'd say. The case is wrong, of course - far too late - but caess weren't always supplied with Martins all those years ago, so it's just functional.

Of course, given how slow any market is at present, that's a subjective figure, but it's close theoretically, at least.

What's the serial number? I have a 1947 000-18 - it'd be fun to see how close our two numbers are...

Generally speaking, Martin nylon-string guitars are far less sought-after that their steel-string instruments.

I've got one of it's older baby brothers, a 1930 O-18.

...and I have an older relative to my '47 000-18, a 1927 0-18.

'18s' had ebony bridges and fingerboards back then; mine's a 12-fret guitar with a slot-head; serial #37102.
