Printing a chart

Post by Mike Hoover »

When I print a chart, in letters it is ok, but when I print in numbers, there seems to be a problem. If you do a 1/57 it prints the slash and the 57 as subscripts. If you do letters it does it right C/G7. Is this a quirk of the program. I have tried to find to find if there is a setting, but have not been able to do so. I try to print both ways some people prefer letters, some numbers.

Not at the computer but try this :

From the Main Menu select WINDOWS

then NOTATION WINDOW

then look for the [Opt.] button and click it.

then you should see an area with three buttons that say "Regular", "Jazz", "Arial" fonts.

If you have your song loaded and click on each of these it will change the look of the fonts used. Could be that simple. If so, there is an area below these buttons to force a type of font for chords, text, and other items.

If you are trying to print just Lead Sheets then go to the Main Menu then the Opt. Menu then the Leadsheet button. There you will see the same options as mentioned above. Not sure if one is different from the other - I would think the settings would be the same.

Good luck.
