This is a link to a test pattern for a new proposed Traditional Country Music Internet radio station - Stafford City Radio

It will play real country only and as it's owner International Country Artist Ms Jean Stafford says quote - (if it don't have steel guitar or fiddle, it don't get played) on Stafford City Radio

Hope you enjoy the first hour test, the full 24 hour broadcast due up and running mid February 2010

So glad to see this about our music from DOWN UNDER.
Wayne is a steel guitarist of big notes too. Highly recommend this site for a very nice slant with a different accent. Jean Stafford, must be kin-as gorgeous and talented as she is- has had Jimmie Crawford produce a Western Swing Album with Lloyd Green and John Hughey as the session players. Jean is a professional through and through and her song writing leaves nothing to be desired. And, her singing talent is better than than. Australia's No. ONE Beautiful LADY talent. (She was also presented with the Will Rogers award last year there in Texas).
Give them a listen and contact them with your music. Another steel world there to be in and exposed too.

Thanks Walter and Bill for your interest and comments on the radio concept.

With the Good Lord's help we should have it up and running 24 / 7 mid / late Feb 2010.

The station will be regestered with Australian Performing Rights Ass so all artists and writers will collect royalities.

LOok forward to any other comments re this project.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to say I have known Wayne & Jean for several years and as most of you know I’ve been a studio musician in Nashville for the past 30 years playing piano on many number one hits and have played for most of the major artists today. I’m glad to say I endorse “Stafford City Radio”

Jean knows what country is and no one sings or does it like her. You’ll be able to enjoy the country we all grew up on and miss so much today! And I know we’ll be able to hear that wonderful voice that only belongs to Jean Stafford.

So tell all you friends about the new “Stafford City Radio” and lets support their efforts by tuning in telling everyone you know and by are generous donations to help support “country” as we love it...
