It's coming quickly! 11/2, 10am-8pm, same location as the Aug 3rd jam. Please click on the following link for all the assorted details about the event. There's a good bit of detailed info on the page, so please give it a good read through--I tried to anticipate most questions:

Should be fun!!

I'm sorry I won't be able to attend this time. My wife and daughter are going to be out of town, and my son and I are bachelors for the weekend; he is performing in a play in Pacifica, so I'll be spending time in Fogtown.
Anybody from the Bay Area who's interested in steel guitar should attend this - it's a lot of fun and you'll hear some great playing!

Jay,
I'm going to the jam, and returning for a gig at the Fetzer's ranch in Redwood Valley that night. It's her 81st Birthday. If you want to go, I'm driving through Ukiah anyhow, and we could split the gas. It's a lot of fun.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for the offer, but setup time is 1pm and sound check is 4pm with a 7pm show so I can't make it. Next time though.

Thanks
Jay

I'm hip,
Are you playing a public gig? I'd like to see you guys perform sometime. This time of year, I'm usually hunting my hounds most weekends and evenings, but I take time off occasionally to take my wife out for a night on the town. Send me your webpage and I'll try to make it to one of your shows.
Hope to see you down the road.

Hi Bill,
It looks like scheduling logistics make it too difficult for me to attend this time, but I'm still working on it. The night before, on Friday Nov. 1, I'll be performing in your area. I'll be with the Dave Russell Band at the El Rodeo Club on 640 Coleman Avenue in San Jose, from 9:00 to 1:30. From what I understand we won't be able to utilize all of our "show" material because it's basically a line dancing environment, but try to make it out if you can. The lead singer is quite good and very entertaining, and the band is (usually) well rehearsed. -- Marc

Hi Bill,
Jay Dee Maness is coming over with me, we should be there fairly early so we can get things set up. Sounds like its gonna be a good time. Jay Dee will also have some of his videos with him, great time to get one autographed. Jim

Hey Bill, I won't be able to make it after all. As you know I was planning on getting a hotel room in the area after my Friday night gig, but now a morning recording session came up at the last second, and it's important for me to be there. And with my wedding gig in Santa Rosa at 6:00, there's just no time for me to fit in the jam on Saturday. There's still a 10% chance that the recoding won't happen, but we'll have to wait and see. I'm sorry I'm going to miss it. I'm sure it'll be successful and a real blast. Thanks. -- Marc

HI Bill:

Hope it's not too late to RSVP - a change in plans and I have time tomorrow afternoon to play a bit. Do you still have some room for me and my ZB?

Thanks - either way!

Hi David Wright,

I'll be there too (with Mary, hee, hee). I'll help you keep an eye on Frank. And as for you, I would drive even more than 23 miles just to see somebody play with 4 picks .

If you play any licks make sure you playem quick because Frank knows I copy.

I have to thank Jay Dee . The last time I played next to him he told me my guitar was crooked and he fixed it for me.

See you all there.
