Good Morning!

We are back in 1979 this week, with a track that was originally recorded by Jeanne Pruett. Great Ballad!

Enjoy the music!

Kind Regards, Walter

One of the classic rides of all time. At this time, Weldon was using a The Electro Harmonix Clone Theory for his chorus effect.

Here is some more Dottsy w/ Weldon. "Storms Never Last" (1975)

It was a very good decade.

Cryptic Rick wins!

And I agree with Robert K. The '70's were a Golden Age for steel guitar.

The reason for my cryptic answer is that it was not a display of my country music knowledge, instead it was a demonstration of my skills at Internet research. I wanted to be fair and see if anyone could figure it out the hard way, which I assume they did.

I confess. I would have never guessed the singer, and I would have guessed John Hughey on steel because of a few licks.
